From 19.7.-12.9.2010, the Vienna City Hall Park is a pulsating meeting point for classical fans and night owls – with lots to please the palate as well as free film shows.
Against the backdrop of the illuminated City Hall, a first-rate program on a giant screen gets the hearts of all music lovers beating faster as darkness falls. The selection of classical superhits ranges from opera and operetta to dance and concert performances .

In addition, around 20 top restaurateurs invite you to embark on a culinary world tour starting in the morning, with lavish delights from all over the world.

"I've never been to New York"

On 17 March 2010, the hit musical with 20 songs by Udo Jürgens celebrates
its premiere in Vienna’s Raimund Theater. 

Having been seen by over a million enthusiastic audience members in Hamburg, the musical is finally coming to Vienna:
a must for fans of musicals and for fans of the great musician, composer and singer.
Udo Jürgen's popular songs such as "Aber bitte mit Sahne", "Mit 66 Jahren" , "Vielen Dank für die Blumen" and "Ich war noch niemals in New York"
get the top-class show swinging.
The composer, musician and singer says about his work:
" For me, a dream has come true: my songs can be heard in a musical theatre."
The original book is by hit author Gabriel Barylli ("Butterbrot").
The story tells of a fun-loving old woman who - neglected by her career-minded daughter -
travels with her new love to New York to get married beneath the Statue of Liberty.
On the cruise ship the "elopers" meet any number of relatives who want to hold them back.
The turbulent story of mix-ups and self-awareness takes it course...
